Printed Hand

From Imperial College Robotics Society
Jump to: navigation, search

We have constructed a simple, though somewhat life like, hand using entirely printed components printed with our latest 3D printer. The hand works very well and is currently controlled using an Arduino.

Future Work

Currently the hand is controlled using some very basic code. Instead we would like to interface with this arm through other means such as:

  1. Joystick - control each finger separately
  2. Kinect - some form of finger tracking that will allow the hand to mimic the users hand.
