ICRS is proud to announce it has won the John Lever Memorial Awards in recognition of our outstanding contributed to teaching and learning achievements in the Faculty of Engineering (June 2012). This award is a great honour and has allowed us to further promote our ever growing society and help us to fund further projects, courses and events!

Congratulations to the Imperial College Robotics Society (2011 Committee) who received the John Lever Memorial award for their impact on promoting the academic discipline of robotics among all engineering departments and part of Faculty of Natural Sciences, in particular, for organising the extremely successful MegaByte series of evening lectures and for running the highly successful “Robotics 101” course.

I am tutor for student-led projects, and I want to say congratulations to the Robotics Society on winning the John Lever Memorial Award. Very well deserved and it is great to see the range of projects you have, in addition to making robotics accessible to a wider audience. Well done. Alison Ahearn
